House Churches

A House Church is a smaller, more intimate meeting of the church where individuals are more personally discipled, nurtured, and equipped in their faith to take their part in becoming the full expression of Christ in this world.

House Churches are where the primary care of the body takes place. Together they:

Worship
  • Singing
  • Praying
  • Sharing the blessing of God in our lives
Nurture
  • Carry one another’s burdens
  • Share our needs and intercede for one another
  • Deal honestly with our sin
  • Fellowship around the Gospel of Christ’s finished work on the cross
Discipleship
  • Believe the promises of God together
  • See the application of God’s truth to our lives
  • Ask questions and wrestle with the text of the sermon
  • Allow the truth of God to shape us by the power of the Holy Spirit
Connect in Ministry
  • Encourage each other in love and good deeds
  • Seek to minister the love of God in St. Louis
  • Learn to act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with God
